Intune is included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium, so many businesses already pay for it and don't use it. We set it up for Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android.
Staff using their own phones
For personal phones we use app protection, not full device control. Business email and files stay inside protected apps, and when someone leaves we remove the business data only. Their personal phone stays theirs.

Can you wipe a lost phone remotely?
Yes. For company devices we can lock or fully wipe them. For personal devices we remove only the business data and apps.
Do we need Microsoft 365 Business Premium for Intune?
Business Premium includes Intune and is the simplest option for most small businesses. Intune can also be added separately to other plans.
