The scams that actually hit small businesses
Business email compromise is one of the most expensive types of cybercrime in Australia. A scammer gets into an email account, or fakes one, and sends an invoice with new bank details. Real estate agents, mortgage brokers, accountants, builders and anyone who sends or receives large payments are prime targets.
What we set up
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your domain, so others can't easily send email pretending to be you
- Phishing and malware filtering on every mailbox
- Multi-factor authentication, so a stolen password isn't enough to get in
- Alerts for suspicious sign-ins and new forwarding rules
- Warnings on emails from outside your business
- A simple process for checking any change to bank details by phone
Free email security check
We can check your domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and tell you in plain English what's missing. It takes a few minutes and you get the results whether you hire us or not.

Questions
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
They're three records on your domain that prove which systems are allowed to send email as you. Without them, scammers can send emails that look like they came from your business, and your real emails are more likely to land in spam.
Can you stop all phishing emails?
No one can stop 100 percent. Good filtering stops most of them, multi-factor authentication stops a stolen password being enough, and a phone-call check on bank detail changes stops the most expensive scams.
