How much does IT support cost for a small business on the Gold Coast?
Unlock Lab charges $69 per user per month including GST for the first 12 months, then $99 per user per month. There's no joining, setup or migration fee. A team of five pays $345 per month in the first year.
Is there a minimum number of users?
No. A sole trader pays the same rate per person as a team of twenty.
What's included in the monthly price?
Helpdesk and remote support, Microsoft 365 and email administration, cyber security and endpoint protection, backup monitoring, network and wifi support, updates and patching, staff onboarding and offboarding, and one named engineer.
What's not included?
Hardware, software licences such as Microsoft 365 subscriptions, and one-off projects like an office move or a large server migration. These are quoted in writing before any work starts.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Billing is month to month. If you leave, you keep your Microsoft 365 tenant, your data, your domain and your accounts.
Do you come on site?
Yes. On-site support covers the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads, Brisbane and Logan. Most issues are fixed remotely, and remote support is available anywhere in Australia.
How quickly do you respond?
New enquiries get a callback within 30 minutes during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Clients call their engineer directly.
Can you set up IT for a brand-new business?
Yes. Domain, business email, Microsoft 365, security, laptops and backups, set up at a fixed price quoted before we start.
Do you work with Essential Eight?
Yes. We assess your business against the Australian Cyber Security Centre's Essential Eight and help you reach Maturity Level One and beyond.
Do you support AWS and Microsoft Azure?
Yes. Our engineer builds and runs AWS and Azure environments for critical infrastructure operators and brings the same standards to small businesses.
